Machining Tip: R6mm produces wide effective cutting zone. In aluminium alloy, use 10–20% D1 step-over for semi-finish; this gives scallop < 0.05mm. At this diameter, ensure minimum wall thickness of 6mm for workholding rigidity, or use vibration-damping toolholder.
