Stepped Forming End Mills: Custom Profile for Production Accuracy
Stepped forming end mills are built for compound features where the “step” is part of the function: clamping surfaces, seal grooves, pocket floors with distinct levels, and transitions that must match a print-defined geometry. When standard catalogue tools cannot generate the required undercut/step relationship cleanly in one setup, a custom forming tool becomes the most accurate solution.
