Machining Tip: R1mm is a micro ball — spindle runout must be ≤ 0.002mm. Use ER collet with ≤ 3µm accuracy. In HRC65 hardened steel, step-over 3–5% of D1 for mirror finish. Scallop height at 5% step-over ≈ 0.0025mm.
