Machining Tip: R2mm is the most popular size for die and mould work. In HRC65 hardened steel, use 5–10% D1 step-over for semi-finishing, 2–5% for finishing. Feed rate 0.02–0.06 mm/tooth; adjust to keep scallop height ≤ 0.005mm for polishing-free finish.
